I just wanted to take a couple of minutes to say thank you to all the wonderful people who befriend, encourage, and inspire me. I would have never dreamed when I joined dA that I would meet so many wonderful people.

I was feeling discouraged today, and then I read all the comments and notes waiting for me on dA, and it was like eating chocolate!!! (mmmmm....chocolate....)

I've always held things inside and haven't typically told people about my problems or fears. So....I was really surprised when I started opening up with dA and telling you about what I was going through, and even more surprised by the inpouring of kindness and love that followed.

This has been a true gift. So thank you to each of you for being a part of my dA experience. Every kind word about my art, about my health or anything else adds drops to my bucket. When someone writes a poem that "may or may not be inspired" by me, or includes me in their prayers, or sends me a special note of encouragement, or who says I'm one of the nicest people they've ever met, or who says they're inspired to work harder on their art because of me, (you all know who you are) it just adds more and more drops to my bucket, and makes me feel like I am part of something very special.

My husband sometimes wonders why I spend so much time with "people I've never met" - but he doesn't realize how amazing and wonderful all of you are, and how you bless my life, drop by drop, until I feel like my bucket is overflowing.

So, sappy or not, there it is. Thanks so much to all of you. And an encouragement to all of you to reach out to those around you, on dA and in your "real lives"... If someone you know is ill or whatever and you don't know what to say... I promise you a quick email or phone call or note simply saying, "I'm thinking of you and hoping the best for you" goes a long way.

So, again, thanks so much, and I truly hope that people are there for you when you need it most!
